A Survey on Extremal Planar Graph Problems

We give a short survey on recently developing problems in extremal graph theory in the
family of planar graphs. In this talk, we review planar Turán numbers, generalized planar
Turán numbers and generalized outerplanar Turán numbers and survey recent results and
sketch of the proofs for some particular problems.
