Lifting chain complexes to spaces

Abstract: We will discuss the main ideas of the Cohen-Jones-Segal approach to lifting a chain complex to a space (actually a stable homotopy type), focusing on the concept of a flow category via the main example (the cube flow category) which underlies the successful lift of Khovanov homology due to Lipshitz-Sarkar.
