The Decomposition Theorem and moduli spaces of vector bundles

Abstract: I will present a rather naive view of the Decomposition Theorem, and apply this approach to the parabolic forgetful map onto the moduli spaces of semistable bundles on a Riemann surface. This is joint work with Camilla Felisetti and Olga Trapeznikova.
