Exact L2 Bernstein-Markov inequality on the ball

Abstract: The Bernstein-Markov problem consists in finding the supremum of the weighted norm of the gradient of norm 1 polynomials of given degree. It is quite rare when this supremum can be found precisely. In this talk we will give the exact solution of this problem for the unit ball in L2.
