Open up mappings and Riemann surfaces

Abstract: In this talk, we construct special conformal mappings for given set of Jordan arcs (cuts). We show different approaches and also give a broad overview of related results. Furthermore, we discuss how an appropriate set of cuts can be constructed once we know the special conformal mapping. Recent results are based on joint works with Sergei Kalmykov, Vladimir Lysov and Olivier Sete.
